i haven't seen any heads that utilize the extra bolts for the lsx. GMPP lsx specific heads are still prototypes, from what i hear. for the time being, you are stuck using gen III and IV LS series specific heads and other hardware.
this block is way too bad @$@# for use with any LS hardware that is out now. you can bolt on LS parts, but what's the point? not going to be able to use it to its full potential.

Re: LSX Heads.
i'm gonna have to disagree with that. if you're wanting bragging rights and people to say "ooo and ahh" then yeah, a blown 572 is the way to go. but i think a twin turbo big block will be the meal ticket to get insane amounts of power between those 2. bad thing about a big block period is weight on the front end, adding either a blower or turbo is adding even more weight. i think he's doing the right thing by adding a twin turbo small block |

Re: LSX Heads.
i agree. the thing with boost is strength, not displacement. you can always "add" displacement with forced induction. build an engine strong, make it breath well, pick the right turbos, have the right setup, and it will hold tons of boost and make excellent power.

Re: LSX Heads.
The LSX heads realy depends on you. If you like to have some added turbo then the 572 will do.
