zz383 info.

I just purchased a zz383 crate engine for my 70 camaro and i'm trying to acheive the 425HP it's rated at. My questions are, what carburator should I use for it and what clutch and size flywheel to use for the 4 speed. Any info would be great.

Not too sure about the clutch and flywheel, I guess it depends on the model of 4spd you're using, as well as personal preference. 383 should have at least a 700cfm carb to make the power you want.

Re: zz383 info.

For optimum HP a 750CFM Manual Carburetor is needed.
A 4160 Series Holley.

If you were a Automatic recommendation would be the 4160 with Vac Secondaries.

Really depends on the model of 4spd you're using, and also as personal preference. The clutch and the flywheel really depends on the car itself.
