does anyone have a write up on how to set the cams and crank timing on a 90 Grand Am 2.3 Quad 4

Just buy the D**N BOOK!

Strut your sorry self over to your local parts store and pick up a Chiltons or Haynes manual. It's all in there.

Gawd, if you didn't know that, what are you doing putting engines together?

there are holes in the cam gears for timing. set the crank so pistion 1 is at TDC and align the cam gears by putting a #8 (i think) bolt in the holes in the cam gears--they should also go through a matching hole in the timing housing.

The bolts needed are 8 mm. I got that from my Chilton's Manual.
