2.4L twin cam, 5 speed.

what all can i do, i have a 96 grand am se with a 2.4L 5 speed. i want to make it faster. but i dont get a shet load of money so im lookin kinda cheap. i plan to go supercharger but i want some small things to do like cams, injectors, maybe pistons later. but wat do you think i can do.

i have poly motor mounts, CAI, radiator shield, striaght pipe exhaust, sKunK2 can on the end,

I'd look for a header next, but I can't remember if the Caviler Z24 headers fit.

you have to cut and reweld the cavi header, but you can make it fit.

alright. well im goin to talk to a welder in a few days and find out how much he wants to make custom racing headers, ones that stretch half length of the car.

that may be a good idea. i don't think you want to go longer than a 30" primary, no bigger than 1 5/8" diameter, too, with a 2.5" collector. also, if you do this, you will have some problems with your o2 sensor. you may have to convert to a heated o2.
