Boosted Hybrid Quad

I tore the engine down to the block, took me 3 hours to get er done. Now I sent it to the machine shop so while I wait for them to modify the oil pump to the Quad 4 oil pump I will be buying the parts i need.

Heres what I got so far

And my Quad High Output intake manifold with a before and after shot

Now i am new to turbo so I can use all the help i can get, what i plan to buy next is the turbo manifold. Now will the Z24 cav turbo manifold work considering I have the same LD9 engine? Now i saw two on ebay which is better fit?

OR

Re: Boosted Hybrid Quad

are you using a quad4 cylinder head or a twincam cylinder head? reason i ask is whichever head you use, your intake and exhaust manifolds are going to have to match up to their corresponding ports in the head to make them worthwhile. all things considered, i think the 2nd exhaust manifold looks like it'll fit better, looks like it keeps the turbo further away from the steering rack.

Re: Boosted Hybrid Quad

I wouldnt mind using the better flowing 086 QUAD 4 head but it would raise compression and considering I am going to add turbo that wont work. I am using the same TC head but plan to port and polish it. The top mount turbo just came out to the market recently so Im going to give it a try cause I would love to see the turbo instead of it hiding underneath.

Re: Boosted Hybrid Quad

Than how is it a hybrid swap if you are using the TC stuff instead of the 2.3?
