cold air intake? 2.4 liter

my friend has a 98/99 grand am coupe, it has a 2.4 liter in it, he was wondering if there is a cold air intake made for this yet. I have checked online and he has to, but we have come up with nothing at all. I would appreciate the help everyone.

Its also been forever since i posted on this last too. I still have my 93 cavalier coupe and now I own a 95 mustang coupe also both cars five speed still.

later,

emmett

Well, if your friend has a 99 GA then PFYC.com has an intake (warm air).

There is another company that makes CAI's but I can't remeber there name.

You could also make your own. Check out http://jeremy.alloverlays.com/ click on "Civic Intake".

I have a 97 2.4L GA and got a CAI from Induction Dynamics. This would work if you had a 98 as well.

I had a Civic intake on my 96 3.1 ;) and I've seen them on 2.4's as well.

if u go to andysautosport.com ..........u will find a varity of parts including cai's .... but as i see it why pay a couple hundred for that ... when just for a few more u can have stage 2 cam that add 24whp....... just remember that compression and volume effiency are the the things that boost ur power
