Does anyone forsee any major issues with this this idea? Better fuel economy and more hp when I need it....
I already have a spare ECOTEC with Computer....
Most likely will need some harness tweaking, custom motor mounts, not sure if the trans will bolt up, etc....

Lots of time spending trying to mount it in longatudinal instead of the way it came. and the eco shares a unique bell housing one that is only shared with other eco's so you would have to get a adaptor plate made for it from a
v8/4.3 to a eco. cause the 4.3 shares the same bell housing as a v8. thats why so many guys just put v8 in them. The 4.3 is really a v8 with 2 cyl's cut off of it. and from a 6 down to 4 i don't see it being to peppy inless you add a turbo or lots of money in the 4 to get the kinda hp's and tq's out of it as the 4.3. if i was you rebuild the 4.3 and slap a turbo on it there are tons of kits for them and have lots of power and torque
