I charged $1400 for the last turbo I installed at my shop. That was labor only (besides a few small things like steel to make flanges) to make custom headers and weld all the piping, customer tuned himself w/HP Tuners. Actually that price included the header pipes and some of the cold side.

He is currently running 12's, and is very happy with the install...

I have a 2000 modle S10 4.3L 5 speed with 3.08 gears and a locker. I recently acquired 2 turbos, a turbo from a 6.5L Turbo Diesle in a bus (Borg Warner PN 171077) and a turbo from an early Buick Grand National complete with the original carburated intake (turbo is an Air Research A/R 60 M24 Part#466159-5005) which of these would work best on my 4.3L? the intake bolt pattern looks like pre-vortec 4.3L but it looks restrictive. It is a draw through setup, could an after maket throttle body setup work?
