IRVINE, Calif. (Sept. 27, 2006) — General Motors has announced that it has extended its agreement with the United States Postal Service to test fuel cell vehicles for mail delivery. The announcement was made today at the unveiling of a GM HydroGen3 fuel cell minivan that will be added to the U.S. Postal Service’s Irvine, California, fleet—marking the first time a fuel cell vehicle will be used for mail delivery on the West Coast.
