bought a festiva... don't burn my house down

this car makes me think "classy" when i hear the term "geo storm"

holy crap, it's so tiny and simplistic... it's a 1992 with only 114.5k miles. a one owner. the only option (A/C) works great. a few bad points:
we're eternally locked out of the trunk area, the lock is different than the key we have...
it has no creature comforts, at all. manual windows, manual locks, one outside mirror (none on the passenger side, and there never was one there), no power steering... the windshield wipers only have high and low \m/
and 12" rims. those damn tires are still 62 bucks each, so it's good that it has brand new tires.

it runs really really well, and needs little maintainance before driving it. i have a hose to replace, because it exploded coolant (which i will flush first, because it's really nasty) all over the place when i was pulling in the driveway. and i mean all over the place. headlights (how?!), grill, hood, windshield, front bumper, entire engine bay... everywhere. and i think it has a bad brake cylinder on the left front, it leaks a little (but the seller included a free bottle of brake fluid!)

no tach, either, but that's okay, because the idle is violent (i think it's supposed to be that way... makes the engine feel bigger, hehe). it's a 5 speed, and the clutch feels great. woohoo!

and all that, plus over 40 miles per gallon, for a hundred bucks! woot!

oh, and don't think low of me, it will be for my girlfriend, when i get everything situated. (her parents are a pain in the ass, and bought a brand new van rather than a used van to have some left over to buy the kids a vehicle (3 kids of driving age now... and one car in the family... but that's a whole different story, and i won't bitch about it now.)

wow, the radiator hoes blew as you where pulling it in to the driveway? That's special.

Also you might want to upgrade to some 13"'s. The tires might be cheaper as they are more common.

For a hundred dollars, not bad at all. I guess you got a good deal huh? That was sweet of you to do that for your girlfriend. You know, my b-day is this Thursday June 8th, and my Formula could use some company, like an 87 Iroc-Z Camaro ;) LMAO just kidding. My friend has a Ford Aspire, which we all lovingly call the Assfire, haha. And my other friend has a Probe, which we call the Anal Probe. Can you tell we despise Ford? haha

my first car was an 89 probe... we called it the anal probe too, it's just such a great name! (seriously, why would they use a name like that?!)

and she thought it was sweet :) the engine runs really solid, and has been pretty well taken care of.
