Bought a NEW bike

Heres my new bike... sold my old GSX-600 and bought a slightl newer GSXR-750.

It has a full Yoshimura RS-3 Race exhaust on it, about 10lbs lighter than stock, and somewhere around 5-10 more hp throughout the rpm range, sure does sound nice.... meaning "LOUD" I get bad stares from old people wherever I go, even though im usually going slower than most cars, it comes with the territory.

I got it for a steal...had to spend alot of time fixing it up and replacing a few things, but for the most part, its a very solid bike. The power is almost unneccesary. Coming from a 600, its like night and day. I like the 750's lower torque, it EASIL has enough power at 5 or 6K to scoot you through any traffic. Reving it over 8K results in unneccesary, brutal acceleration =]

Ive been riding it for a month, i dont think ive gone over 30% throttle on it, its just not needed. WHich is nice, I used to have to wring my older 600 out to get it to move, this thing doesnt even break a sweat.



YEs it is inside my room.... which is why motorcycles rock. =D

I highly recommend the GSXR's.... =]

I cant really see myself on a non sport bike anytime in the near future. I have always wanted a GSXR, ever since i had a regular GSX.

A V-twin would be cool to try one day...
