Gone for a while - lots have changed on the forums.

Hey everybody old and hello to the new members of GMPT.

I have been away for a long time and just wanted to see if my login and password still worked.

I still have my '96 GA GT and it's been mothballed. It's sittin' in the driveway and has only moved when I have moved the few times in the past 2 1/2 to 3 years. Tires are bald, interior smells stale, the Baer brakes are not as pretty and the rotors are rusting. It starts up with no problem the past 4 times that I have tried and still has a full tank of gas (which is not a good thing).

My wife passed away 12/01/2006 and I have been trying to get my life back in order.

A few questions that I have....

What happened to GM Power talk?
Where is the AED site.
I have searched on threads of Len & Susan -- what happened with all of that?

Any info would be appreciated.

It's been a while.

Sorry to read about your Wife, my condolences.

Sense the Grand Am has been mothballed what have you been driving?

GMPowerTalk's domain name lease has lapsed. AED let it die.
AED Forums is still running, but is in a sad state of disrepair. Only 6 threads have been active in the past 6 months.

A quick search of "Len and Susan Dodd" turned up this.
Rip-off Report: AED Central - Len Dodd And Susan Grammer Scamming
I don't think they're still in business, and I can't find a place to buy there crap anymore.

Re: Gone for a while - lots have changed on the forums.

Sorry to hear the news .. my condolences are with you.

So .. to update you ... As you know I was working with Len @ AED. My partnership with him fizzed and I wasn't happy with the way things were giong. I gave him GMPOWER (GMPOWERtalk) and all the website content, etc. He moved it to his server.

I start this site, GMPT.net, and it started with no members and no content. We've built it up quite nice and things chugg at a nice pace.

I havent' heard from Len in years and no idea what is going on with his biz.

I am happy I parted ways.

Re: Gone for a while - lots have changed on the forums.

I have been driving a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I need it for my 2 labs. It sucks on gas -- avg 12 miles to the gallon. The bad gas mileage is also due to me putting on some big BFG all-terrains.

Re: Gone for a while - lots have changed on the forums.

I remember when you started this site up. I really sucked that the previous one had crashed and burned and all that info was lost.

Now that GM Power is gone -- it sucks --- I contributed so much info along with links to get proper tire sizes. Maybe I can find it and you can make it a sticky for any future questions on how to calculate tire sizes and what to up-size to.
