Well...I know I've complained about the "GM" news stuff long enough. Sorry, can't take anymore. I learn more about peugot, dodge, toyota, audi, suzuki, etc. than I do about GM's in the "More GM News". Came here because it's a GM site, but it's time to bail with all the extra stuff drowning it out. Like I said before, I link to GMPT by "new posts since last visit" so as not to miss anything new in any of the threads, but it all gets drowned out with the B.S. on every other car but GM and the real member posts just get lost in it all. Not enough time in the day to manually skim each category for new posts, so its just time to say goodbye. It's been a good time for sure, up till the RSS feeds running rampant. Somebody email me please if it ever returns to normal.

yeah i think it is annoying to and i dont read pretty much any of it! I think it needs to go back to normal too

The news is a cool feature, but I've been skipping over comming to GMPT lately, and going strait to www.autoblog.com .
Going to the sorce is just faster and easier.

With any new feature to the site, it takes time to get it right. The goal of the auto news was simply to have more GM forum activity. Our site is a great source for info and we wanted to have some of the latest GM info, SEMA info, and general car show info. We put all these in one forum, in an attempt to only have people view it if they want to.

The best thing on the site is to subscribe to sections you like. One click will only show your favorite sections of this forum.

Over the past month, we have continuned to refine the news feeds, cut several back, and feel like it will only get better. If it doesn't, we'll stop using them. Until we gave it a shot, made changes, and still in the phase of refining it, we would never know if it wouldn't work for us.

I apprecicate all the feedback and the support. If anyone decides to leave over this, I aplogize. However, in order to keep this site growing things must be tested out and if it works, keep it. If not, ditch it.

We all agreed, the feeds are to much and we have no good way to organize them. As a result, they have been removed. Thanks for the feedback everyone! It means a lot to us.

yea, i havent been comming here as much since the whole news things started. Its hard to find the members posts over the new threads since i use the read new post option to view the forums.
