A friend of mine just launched Wiisportsleagues.com and I wanted to help him spread the word.

"The website allows for any members of the site to participate in local leagues and tournaments as well as create and host their own leagues or tournaments. All leagues and tournaments have open signup periods and the site also has a built in bracketing and league system that we developed to make keeping track of all your valuable statistics as simple as possible.

So now that you know a little bit about the site, here comes the fun part. We're going to be hosting a Wii Tournament on Tuesday Jan 8th at 7:30pm at Nevada Smiths (3rd ave between 11th and 12th St). We have 2 types of tournaments set up, Singles Tennis and 3-person Baseball, and both are currently open for joining right now on the site. So if you want to come out for some drinking and Wii, join the site, make yourself a team (a 1 person team is needed to play tennis) and see if you've got what it takes to become a Wii champion! Oh yea...and the more the merrier, so tell all your friends who you think might be interested to join too!
