It would be great if GM could team up with Tesla.
Take the V1.5 or V2.0 Drive Train from the roadster and put it in the Cobalt. Remove the gas tank, make the trunk smaller, and put a bunch of batteries back there. Seriously the trunk in the Cobalt is bigger than the one in a 92-98 Grand Am, it's huge. On Friday John Mcelroy said bring back the EV1, but that really isn't feasible. yeah but not till 2010 or 2011. way to far away. I do not understand why they dont atleast put the ecotec hybrid in the cobalt, astra and g5? i mean in the big cars the motor get like 29hwy i am sure in a lighter car it will work better.
