GMPT Updates
As a result, GMPT has released GMPT 2008 moving into the New Year! What does this mean for you? Well, hopefully more control over the look and feel of the content, better searching, and easier navigation, along with an extremely fast page. The first MAJOR changes you will notice is when you come to the website we no longer have the landing page. Why? To be quite honest, this past year, the landing page was hardly used and most people went directly to the forums. So, why not make GMPT.net go directly to our content, the point of our website, the forums! Next, you'll notice a new theme. This is a bit more of a generic theme for GMPT; however, it will give us control to add some awesome features quicker. Also, we are going to have a series of themes users to control and select. Essentially you will be able to use this new look, the GMPT Classic look, or many more we will introduce. Like your ride, we want you to mod the site out! Last, the message forum page that leads into the forums has been modified. We simply have links directly into the forums, without saying what you are going into. Why? Well, to be quite honest, the forum headlines should give you enough guidance. And last, but not least, NEW POSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! During 2007 the "new posts" link was lost in the site, making it hard to find what you want. Now, on our new theme, "NEW POSTS" is at the top. Go to www.GMPT.net, click new posts, done, you have your content. That is about as quick as you can get! We truly hope you like the updates and realize that GMPT is designed for you, the GM driver. We want to empower our users to control this website and we are simply offering a location where GM drivers can some, with the control of the site up to you! Enjoy and I look forward to chatting with you in the forums! Have a wonderful new year! Sincerely, Jason Miller Webmaster / Founder
