Samuel L. Jackson Lends Voice To Pontiac "Fuel For The Soul" Advertising
Detroit, Michigan....Actor Samuel L. Jackson muses on the color of red in compelling narration for a new series of Pontiac's "Fuel for the Soul" television spots, which also feature dramatic footage highlighting the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix equipped with an enhanced performance Competition Group option package, or "Comp G."

"We're delighted to be working with Mr. Jackson," says Pontiac-GMC General Manager Lynn Myers. "He is exactly the right spokesperson for Pontiac: an exciting, powerful performer with proven appeal to a broad, diverse audience."

Among the features mentioned in the Samuel L. Jackson narration are a 260 horsepower V-6 engine and "two pair of shiny red shoes," a reference to distinctive brake calipers seen on the front and rear of the new 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix with Comp G.

The television spots were created by agency partner Vigilante and will air nationally in late October 2003. Vigilante is a New York City agency specializing in crafting marketing communications programs relevant to consumers of urban culture.

Pontiac is a division of General Motors Corporation and markets the Vibe, Sunfire, Grand Am, Grand Prix, Aztek, Montana and Bonneville. Pontiac brings back an exciting and powerful contemporary version of its legendary GTO this year.
