Spamming on the forum

Over the past week or so we have had a lot of fake accounts being created (by bots) to spam the board. As a result, we have implemented a few processes that once weren't implemented. Each new user will have to type letters off an image, similar to other on-line registration systems, and each user will have to reply to an e-mail to confirm the account. We had these disabled so users could signup quickly, however, these bots are turning into a problem. Thanks.
