Timeslip Databse - GMPT Leads, others follow.
Hope you guys are enjoying the time slip database! It's not huge yet, but hell, it's winter time! Slowly it will grow though. We were very excited to find the hack for this and after we installed it, like always, others followed.
Thanks for your support of GM Performance Tuning, the leader in the GM Community World.
Also, we have received a few e-mails about installing a hack to for battles on the forums. I have never seen such as hack and honestly don’t know why you guys would want it on an automotive website. We are adults that want to talk about cars. This isn't a star trek website where we will battle each other and go to levels. If you disagree with me, I am very sorry. However, I doubt any of you will.
Thanks for your support and understanding on this matter.

I don't know .. just got a few e-mails about it and thought I would tell everyone for anyone that may be wondering if we are going to do it.

It's great the way it is...though I think slips should be a requirement. NOT THAT I DOUBT ANYONE ON THERE! I'm just saying that there are people that would post up anything cuz they can.

Sure you do. Just say "hey, you need a slip." Then if someone posts a time and a week later has no slip still, pull them off the list until they get one. It's not really that big of a deal, especially since most of the fastest times have slips to show already. It's just going to raise some eyebrows when someone posts a 14.0 in a GA with no slip.

15.098 @ 90.84mph w/ no traction, uphill, into a 70mph headwind, in 2 ft of snow, with a dead hooker in the trunk.

ok you got me there, it was only a 60mph headwind.
That's just poking meaningless fun at everyone who makes excuses about their times. (with the exception of anyone in Denver or anywhere else 4000-5000 ft up...I feel for you guys ;) ) You ran what you ran, if you know you can do better, try again.
Jason, I'm sure it's more work than you really want to do, and maybe more detail than anyone else cares about, but perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to add a column for major upgrades or something. I know people look at some of those times and say "dear god, how'd he run that?" Well if they have a little SC, TC, n2o, etc in a column, it would help others get an idea of what they can expect to run with said upgrades.

I am unable to add that to the slip database, but I can add a field to the profile where you can do that ;)

Not every track runs slips. The one in Spokane runs head to head grudge matches. No slips, they just post your times on the sign at the end of the run.
