AVI to GIF converter
I wanna covert some AVIs to gifs to amke some cool sigs but i cant find any programs that will do it/and or actually WORK.....everytime i download freeware, the shit breaks.....and im not paying any MONEY for software that does so little.
any suggestions? I know shortsman has done it before maybe he can chime in.

Have you tried Jasc Animation Shop Pro? I can send you the Paint Shop Pro 7/Anim Shop Pro 8 from school tomorrow night if you like... It's only about 29 megs I think... I've used it for creating gifs before, and it opens mpegs; I'll check when I get home if I remember...
I made my sig with it :)

As of now I use adobe after effects. But a good one for starters without all the video editing stuff would be Coffeecup gif Animator.

ooh, try http://astalavista.box.sk/ they may have a key for that coffee cup thing (never ever download anything form there though!!!!)
