3400 in the 14's
Hey fellas is it possible to get a 1995 GA SE with the 3400 swap into the low 14's?
Thanks for your insight, Corey:)

you would probably have more posts reguarding this topic if it wasn't in the love line section... :)

you know josh you could have moved this post for him.
Corey, scroll to the top of the page and read " GM Performance Tuning - v2.0 > GMPT General Chat > GMPT Love Line > 3400 in the 14's"
I think there are a few pre99 GA's and Berettas with 3400's in the 14's.
On a stock engine you're looking at high 14's,

Low 14s I wouldn't count on without either boost or waiting until the new cams come out (August-ish). It doesn't really take much to get into the 14s though...unless you've got a factory slow freak.
Do you already have this swap completed? A friend of mine put a 3400 in his 95 GT, and had a lot of tuning issues, but still ran a 15.1. He'll hit 14s this year since he's got most of the bugs out. Make sure you get everything tuned properly though.
edit...Just realized Dave (95-GT) is on here. How convenient. PM him for more details.

IMO the 3400 swap is the only worthwhile way to go if your cursed with a 3100.......some easy high 14s for sure.

Ya. Dave, that 15.1 run is old. I've gotten it down to a 15.01, but still a 2.6 60 foot and pegging the rev limiter. So I know mid 14's are easilly possibly. I also have a few hundred dead lbs of weight removed.
