I was looking over my brothers Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine’s 2003 Tech Guide Annual Issue, and I cant across an article abotu the 03 SVT cobra. here is what it said. It shows that a bone stock cobra is rated at 390 HP and 390 TQ at the crank. Well it was taken to a dyno.
What were the numbers? Bone stock had 381.3 hp and 374.8 ft-lbs. They took the pulley from the SVT Lightnings...$50, and the numbers jumped to 441.2 hp and 458.4 ft-lbs. They put some Mickey Thompson ET Streets in a 26x10.5/16 inch rim and did the 1/4 mile im 11.683 sec at 119.36 Mph. So Quads dont own shit....DOHC V8 owns the shit out of you.

so you're comparing a supercharged v8 in fjord's halo car to a 4cyl with 1/2 the displacement from a soon to be discontinued compact sedan/ midsized sedan...

I am just pist that he sits there and talks like he knows everything, and calls me a moron and stupid for no reason. Then he says how he put $500 into a quad and did 13...BS meter is WAY up.

Sure, that cavi hit mid 12's, but stock cobras can do that anyways. 12's does not impress me at all. I stated my fact and all I had was people jump all over my on the thread, then have people call me a moron, stupid, dumbass who doesnt know what he is talking about. Then when I come back and say something back, I have someone say that its immature that someone has to resort to name calling when they cant support what they say. Well right there is my support. And Like Nick said, I cant stand all this 4>6 bullshit. A few people here had that in the sig and info for the engine and stuff. Honestly, this is the way it works in reality....4<6<8<10
