Let me finish off this 6-pack and i'll think it over! ahahah
you have to find the "fun-buzz" zone... it appears u hurtled past it into the "hurling zone"...
I've driven the porcelain bus a few times.. not since Montreal in 93 though.. ahhhh.. the memories.. my gf and I stumbling across the outdoor Jazz fest in downtown Montreal the shut the streets and had beer stands on every corner.. it was like nirvana.. however the Thai food and 2-fisted drinking didn't agree..
:barf:
Me a :dunce: that day! Ahh the memories..
And for those who had a sh**ty xmas or New Years.. in my view.. I never try knowingly to set up special "couple" events (e.g., tell her u love her, propose, get married, etc) with anyone on a special calendar date (e.g., xmas eve, New Year's eve, Valentines, yours or her birthday).. why?
cuzz if and when it goes in the dumper.. not only do u have that baggage, you also have this date coming around every year to remind you.. an extra bag that sometimes seems like forever to lose.
My "mistake" was (unknowingly) starting a relationship with a young woman on Nov 11 2001 (Vet's/Remembrance Day) and ironically on exactly Nov 11, 2002.. she ripped me to shreds and literally laffed as I fell apart... In that one year period I lost the 2nd of my two parents.. both of who were WWII vets.. so imagine what Nov 11, 2003 was like? Basically.. a wrench in one hand and beer after beer in the other.. but I made it!.. thankfully, as people say.. things get easier.. u just got to throw out the yardstick u use to measure how long it *should* take...
blah blah.. man i can go on eh?
P.S. (I moved this over to love-line instead of the Happy New Year's thread.. cuzz it's raw emotional quality :p )
