I like the Car and Driver Review :D they tore that car apart so bad :)
I really dont like the GTO.
I rather have my WS6, and if i had to buy another "fast" car today, it would be the '04 GTP. Looks a lot better IMO

"...our test car scorched from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and tripped the quarter-mile lights in 13.62 seconds at 104.78 mph..."
Wow... I want one sooo bad.

Quote from C&D website
"It doesn't look like the old goat. That's the harshest indictment we can make against this new Pontiac GTO. Yes, there are other, eminently fixable flaws with the Australian-built GTO, and we'll get to those shortly. But we're really struggling to invent reasons not to put both hands together for this supremely comfortable, rear-drive, all independently sprung, Corvette-powered, husky-sounding, highway-inhaling coupe."
seems to me that they like it well enough

I don't care what any one says about the car. Sure it's no replacement for the Trans Am, but I still think it's a sick and well made ride.

car and driver is a bunch of import biased, GM hating idiots. They hardly ever had anything nice to say about GM.

i lov eit its not that retreo crap from ford. its soul is in the gto past, its a plain looking coupe but has that nautrual agressive squat. bad ass motor, reliable, and just goes like hell. pluss you know that motor has tons of aftermarket parts you can get it up to 400 hoarse power for under 1k of parts. i love it i want one so bad.

the part I don't get is that the GTO is an import. oh wait, I guess it must fit into the "GM" catigory. Wonder what they say about Saab, Subaru and Isuzu cause they are GM's too

Subaru is part of the "GM Network"
Go to http://www.gm.com/flash_homepage/# Click on the drop down menu and go to fuji/subaru
So they are part of GM, but not actualy GM like pontiac or SAAB.
