guys a 200 shot well ummm yeah of course it is gonna drop in fricken ETA's no nos and 10sec id have a little more :banana: dance in my type but damn thats nothing to brag about

so what if its got a 200 shot. that thing is waxing a lot of blown ls1 f-bodies as it is, and its heavier + automatic trans. i am thoroughly impressed especially considering what little work he's done. in fact ANY 10 second street legal car has my utmost respect, bar-none.

that thing was fuggin sexy.

First off I have to say like it or not a 10 sec car is a 10 sec car....I agree with you guys saying that nitrous makes it kinda cheap but we also have to admit none of our cars are running 10's....So I'll give my respects there and thats a sweet blue GTO.

I'm not very knowledgeable on nitrous although I've read a lot. I know there are wet setups and dry setups and you can get various "shots". However I thought a 100 shot was like a ridiculous thing people would joke about or claim and everyone knows your full of it....but a 200 shot....is that even possible? I mean and on the stock motor? I'm not calling the guy a liar he has a time slip and what have you but can anyone with lots of knowledge on the subject give me a little Nitrous Oxide 101 please lol. Also right after the burn out to warm his tires you here like a blow off valve and some steam or what have you shoot up from under the hood....thats him preping the nitrous correct?

Final statements...I wish I could have seen someone run against him like a dodge viper for example which I believe runs low to mid 12's to get a nice comparison. One last things about the nitrous I know you wanna be kinda high up on your RPMS when you kick the nitrous in....and wouldn't either a little flame shoot out from the excess fuel (or is that just a thing for movies and spark plug in the tail pipe kit for looks?) OR wouldn't the car have like atleast chirped the tires when the nitrous went through??? Especially a 200 shot???

People have been running large shots of nitrous on LS1's for quite a while now. From what I understand* most of the time engines can handle a Nitrous shot of 50% of the engines HP. Figure LS1 + intake + Headers + exhaust = ~400HP.

Yes, he was purging the air from the Nitrous lines, and yes to prep the system for the run.

yeah, the 'steam' you see coming from the car is the guy purging the nitrous lines, that way when he's heading down the track there is no air in the lines, just straight n2o hitting the engine. a 100 shot isn't so unbelievable; hell, killerquad (www.killerquad4.com) is running a 125 or 150 shot.

diddo.... i mean if my car could handle 200 shot id be damn well near 12 seconds considering a stock 2.4 is running 130ish to the wheels. so that would be almost 350 horse so there for id be there no prob maybe low 12's so like i said u build a super or a turbo set up and no nos and run 10's u got my respect plus some. hell if u got a all motor u really got it...

lol, what are you guys crying about, the car is fast end of story. if i would have never said anything about its mods people would have been said "OMFG da shit is hella tyte yo" "mad tyte yo" "sheet is foggin sweat" "GTO= teh win" bla bla bla get over it, its running nitrous. who cares b/c at the end of the day that car is faster then any car on this board.

Urweak you are worthless people like you ruin these boards were all just stating our opinions so if you dont like it to bad grow up. I for one said its impressive and faster than all of us and gave my props but me and some of the other guys on here aren't big nitrous oxide fans thats all, no reason to get your panties in a bunch!
