people who say bottles are for babies are jealous that they got beat....
nitrous isn't cheating...it's a means to gain big power without the big money of forced induction...and either way you look at it...cheating or not...he just made a 10 second pass and i bet if you dumped 4k into a supercharger for a ls1 f-body..it wouldnt run that fast...

Ugh, ya, he spent $600 into a nitrous kit, but now he has to tear the motor down to replace a blown headgasket. Smalls shots are ok, but will do more harm then forced induction due to no tuning (unless you have standalone or piggyback).

My $0.02
I'm not a big nitrous fan myself, but that was an impressive run I must admit. A 200 shot on a somewhat stock motor is very good. And that's badass for the GTO b/c people I know have been ragging on it while I've been supporting it.
People think nitrous is weak because they are used to NA or Turbo setups and nitrous is finally becoming a bigger thing. It's actually the same thing as a turbo setup, it's just supplying more oxygen during combustion, just in a different way.
For those of you who think nitrous is weak, it has a serious disadvantage and that's having the power to destroy your engine if you use too big of a shot and if you use nitrous on the engine for a long time. If you don't build your engine properly, it's going to die with a short-lived life. Also, you have to keep paying to refill the bottle, turbo's you have to maintain and tune it just right to get the most out of it, NA you just have to keep it tuned properly and you're good.
They all have their advantages and disadvantages.
Just my $0.02.

hp per $$ spent....nitrous is the way to go...if you use it correctly...ie correct air/fuel/nitrous mixture, you can run it forever in a car that is functioning correctly, but i must admit...my trans is about shot from spraying...but i wouldn't have changed anything about it though...
