Woot!
I just beat it.

Okay Next time I play I need to do all the races before doing the URL events.
Finished the game with only 69% of the races completed.
And when you go back to do the other ones, you don't get the money for them :(

And I never unlocked Wide body kits! WTF?

wide body is a unique, from an outrun race (you drive up behind the orange things on the map, then hit your "start race" button), i think it's just kinda random, that's where all the uniques are...

hehe, yeah, there's no damned wide body for the SUV's. how much crap is that?!

the outruns are hard as hell. you come up behind them, press (enter), and they start driving like bats out of hell, and amazingly, are always faster than you. it's nuts, you basically don't stand a chance (at least in a GTO!) unless you're on the highway, and cut onto a bunch of on ramps, and they end up taking the wrong one (leads to a quick victory...). also, smashing them hard from behind before it starts, then hitting enter as they're flying through the air... that's a nice way to win them.

I do all my out runs on the freeways... They can't keep up. They have way better handling -- but what ever car you are in the are matched to a degree to you -- but with better handling. But they cannot stand a chance on the freeways.
Also, another way to get them fast is to go on the opposite side and go against traffic. And when you do that --all the traffic disappears -- I guess it's to help out the CPU... LOL

It's up there with cocaine lol. One of the few videogames that I can sit there and play non-stop for hours.

For the out runs, I start on the highway and when I'm ahead I cut into the city streets where I just drive around until I win. Avoid doing the outruns in the area on top of the world map (you know where it's all hilly and winding and you have the view of the city).
