of course, there were bells and everything! i wasn't really expecting it, and he chirped them off the line a tiny bit, so i put the hammer down from about 3k in first, and was already past him... i didn't think i needed the exclamation of second gear...

I unlocked a wide body kit and finnished the rest of the races the other day. My celica was a mess of vinal and decals so I just took them off and changed the entire car to carbon fiber and got my 10-star rating. So I have the one wide kit for the Celica and all the wide kits in quick race mode, how do I unlock the wide body kits in career mode?

I was able to choose a wide body kit for my celica by doing the outruns in level 5, but I want the rest of them in career mode. Jeremy, look here they have some good info and yes some stages you can unlock more than one unique mod.

the only unique i got before was NOS and a spoiler... in this game, so far i have the engine and rims, didn't get the hoods though...

I took a picture of my TV of the world map (thats why it looks blury). Are there any hidden shops I haven't found yet?.....if there are could somebody mark off the approximate location on the map?

if you go to "career status" or whatever, on the "overall" menu, scroll down and it will say "2/2" or whatever by jackson heights.
i think you missed one in jackson heights, there's a vinyl shop or whatever right by the body shop up there. those are the only 2 in jackson heights. anyway, here's a map of jackson heights, beacon hill, and the city core. apparently, starting a new career overwrites an old one...
