Iowa/surrounding States............Dragstrip time

We (a number of people from Ames Iowa and surrounding areas) are going to hit Cedar Falls Raceway (www.cedarfallsraceway.com) on the 24th of April (it's a Saturday). Initially plans were for the 1st of May, but too many people had things going on.

It appears as if at LEAST 2 Beretta owners from this message board are going to attend (Canada, Ericm555), and possibly a few others. We normally leave from a central gathering point in Ames and head on up, but anybody who wishes to just meet us there can (directions are on their website).

It's $20 for as many runs as you can get in between 1pm (gates open at noon) and 5 pm (and they sometimes give you a little leway for close time). You have to be 18 years of age to run, but they are pretty lax about ID's so feel free to BS your way in if you are 17 ;)

We should have at least 10 cars (we've had 10 and 11 respectively the last 2 times) ranging from 17 and 18 second Cougars and Beretta's on up to 12 second RX-7's.................odds are that you'll find something in your speed bracket to race (and this track is VERY good about allowing matchups).

And trust me...........the drive up is FUN :D
