Andrews Air Force Base Car Show in the Works - July 21

Hey Everyone,

MilitaryPerformance.com is planning a car show at Andrews AFB on July 21. Right now, we are working on all the various legal permissions we need to hold it on base, but the location ("Home Traditions" parking lot beside the BX) is reserved.

I will let you know more when this thing is set in stone, but I am working on getting the Air Force "Raptor" demo truck, some type of flyover, maybe a helicopter and whatever else we can get the Air Force to put on display.

Right now, the categories look like this:
Best Truck - 1st, 2nd
Best Motorcycle - 1st, 2nd
Best Import - 1st, 2nd
Best Domestic - 1st, 2nd
Best of Show
People's Choice
and possibly Best Hooptie

The entry fee I set for now is $10.00 plus 5 canned goods or some cash amount equal to the 5 canned goods (to be determined later).

So, pop it on your calendar if you are close to DC. We'll get you in the gate, but we will need to know in advance to get your name on the admittance list.
