PA camping or Dorney Park - interest?

Just gauging interest for 2 possible meets I can host.

Dorney Park is less than 10 minutes from my parents place. (we actually had a very small meet there back in 2002) They got some sweet rides there, and the water park is a great time.

People could crash at my place... could cook out, enjoy some brew, hot tub, etc.

Camping meet. Real camping... tent, campfire, trees, cooking lots of good food via fire/grill, etc. I frequently go to Hickory Run state park, near White Haven PA. (hour north of Allentown) Very scenic area (Poconos) and offers alot to do - hiking, sports, boulder field, lake (w/ beach), and my fav - waterfall with swimming hole. Keep in mind this is a non-alcoholic state park. This wouldn't be a "beer pong in the woods" type deal. (a descrete flask would be ok) I know it's not for everyone, but is a great time, even if you've never done it before. I have enough tents and gear for everyone... you'd only need blacket/sleeping bag and pillow. There are bathrooms with showers. Cost would be minimal... in fact I'll pay for sites, just bring food or we can do a pitch-in.


Any takers? Dates are open to discussion, but lets choose something quickly and stick with it if so.

damn that sounds like a good time :D i was just up in philadelphia to visit home. i wish i could attend! sounds like a blast!!!

I didn't realize you were from the area. Or did the parents move there?

I am orignally from Philly Roxbourgh area (s/p). All of my family lives up there except me, my mom, my dad, and my sister. I really miss it. When I graduate college I plan on moving back up north.
