Pittsburgh Car Show

I’m looking to put together a car show in June somewhere in Pittsburgh pa (working out the possibility of using the Allegheny Airport parking lot as a choice) The show would cost you $5 or so to enter, 1st-3rd trophies for best domestic, import, euro, and truck/suv. DJ and food, all proceeds will go to a charity (talking with Make a Wish) but I want to see interest in this, anyone is welcome to come, and if there is a lot of out of state interest I am thinking about setting up discounted hotel rooms for attendants to the car show. So tell me what you guys think.

FYI.. June might be a bad time for some ppl to show up cuz mid-June is GM Nationals at Carlisle..

isnt that june 18th-20th. I was plaining on maybe the 5th or the 12th. Theres a few things going on around the 5th (June 4-6 Carlisle All-Ford Nationals Carlisle, PA, June 5 Import Life at the BeaveRun Motorsports Complex Wampum, PA, June 5-6 OC Car and Truck Show Ocean City, MD, June 5-6 Nopi Race Wars/Upper Midwest Nationals Cardova, IL). but the 12th seems pretty clear. (June 11-13 16th Hot Rod Nationals Indianapolis, IN, June 12 Hot Import Nights Charlotte, NC, June 12-13 ImportWar 2X Lewisberry, PA)

^ yeah, I'm just saying with all that stuff going on all at once, some ppl might not be able to make it to everything, so then decisions gotta be made. I kno I can't afford to go away for more than 1 weekend each month. If only Pitt wasn't like 5 hrs away... :(

well thats the only day that there isnt big shows, unless i try the weekend before the 12th, but thats a raining time of year so. and then if i wait till july then theres the 4th and all that, then most people go on vacation after the 4th and ill be gone in mid july, then august isnt as nice and people are getting ready to go back to school and shit. so the 12th is the best.
