ok i am back, some of you remember me from like way back in the day on the grand am forums and officialy i was the third person to ever join this group when josh and jason kept crashing the site for like 2 weeks striaght, lol.On these forums I had a 97 grand am, 98 z28 and a 01 WS6 ok so after everthing that has gone on with my family its finally better and I am back in school and after a year without a gm car i finally sucked it up and bought another one: 2005 GTO M6 black on red with 11k miles. I just ordered pacesetter LT, we are doing a custom exhuast, ADR 18s black with silver lips, guages, intake, drag bags and bushings (dam IRS), and I am getting dyno tuned with a ported intake mani and TB (awsome package deal for 800). Other than some visual stuff not doing much else i want her streetable and comftable to drive.

btw i would stay clear of those pacesetter long tubes. there was one guy i met at the world of wheels show in chicago telling me how great they were, saw them on a "customer car," an impulse blue 05 or 06....

then i hear a few weeks later that that same exact car caught on fire and BURNED because the headers did not clear the rubber boots on the steering rack... got hot and well the rest was history.

get the SLP's or the kooks. they cost more but are WAY better. and get a cam. best way to make tons of power with that engine.

and get some drag radials. stock tires are t3h suxx0rz.

i am not looking to make to much power just like 470 at the crank which can be done with the exhuast LT, ported intake and dyno tune

i got version II wich have like 2 more inches of clearance on the sterring rack so we will see how this goes, everyone on LS1gto love thiers especialy the vsII

i know i wanted the kooks but jeez everyone says the pacesetters are just as good except for the clearance problem but the V2 has fixed that. we will see.
