Encounter with an NSX

Coming back from Somernites in the truck I saw something coming up in my rear view mirror.C6,Ferrari....wait no ,a NSX closing at about a 100.I was just cruising at 85 in 6th gear so I down shifted to fourth and caught him.

We ran it to 150 in open highway for a couple of minutes until traffic was approaching and it was a dead heat .I know those things are 2100 pounds lighter than me and a have aero like a used bar of soap but ....damn.

It was WAY fast.

I have an aero package that resembles a brick!

you don't see those cars around that much anymore...or at least around here. at highway speeds us truck guys might as well forget about it lol. it takes so much power to battle physics it's not even funny.

you should have caught him a light, probably would have been a better run. i was in my trailblazer one day and i got to play with one out in our industrial section of town...those nice stop lights that are about 1/4-1/2 mile apart. i would get about a car on him to about 70, then he'd start catching me and passing me. we were shutting it down when i was around 100 and he would be about 1.5-2 cars out on me.

a couple of races, he rolled his window down and told me "that thing's pretty quick" i just chuckled and said not quick enough, complimented him on his car and we went our seperate ways.

Yes ,the aero battle is a tough one.It was just fun to run one and have a little fun.I actually fared better on the 911 Turbo here locally a few days ago.
