185 in my 2000 Trans Am 6-speed. 190 in my bosses Astro van. It has a 502 bored&stroked to 580. 1100 hp with out the nitrous. And 190 in my uncles 2004 Cadilac Roadster XLR. But the Astro Van was the most fun.

Oh he welded his spider gears too so he does have true possi. To awswer your question about my T.A I have full MSD ignition, Holly fuel pump, Super Chip, forged pistons, Headers w/ 3inch exhaust w/ no catylatic converters or mufflers (sounds bad ass, almost as good as my bosses 580), and homemade Co2 injection. Oh and of course street slicks.

SBC and BBC Astro's are cool there's one at Byron dragway with a 383 stroked 350 and another in the IronHorse 4x4 club with a 454 on a 73 chevy 4x4 1 ton chassis on 44 inch boggers (talk about a wicked ride-7 people, slinging mud allover! :D

welded spider gears (lincoln locker) is a redneck/lowbuck Spool. positraction will alow for limited differentiation between both rear tires (a spool will wind up and unload causing the tire chirp as you turn around a corner) hopefully he has a better rearend than the stock astro 10bolt-the axles dont like it with lots of torque.
whats with the CO2 injection? why would you want to inject something into your combustion chamber that would reduce combustion? did you mean N2O? or water, H2O? water wouldnt do anything except cool the combustion process (helps save engine parts and is worth it if your have high amounts of boost from superchargers or turbochaging) and reduce the EGT to levels livable by the turbine of a turbocharger (usually less than 1600-1500 degree's is good) whats up with the Co2?

First of all i know what a posi is. And second both tires are spinning at about 100mph at any corner he does around anyways so yes they do chirp a little ( the smoke a little too. And third the Co2 drops the temp down in the intake manifold causing the fuel to actualy burn better resulting in better mpg, it doent work on just turbos, belive it or not.

then you mean you have one of those CO2 cryo cooling pieces (teardrop shaped in the intake tract) not CO2 injection into the engine, the CO2 flows through the cryo device THEN gets released into the atmospere not the engine air (there are several different designs-air to air intercooler ones that spray on the atmosperic side of the intercooler (increasing intercooler thermal efficiency since on super/turbocharged engines can see 150-300 degree compressed air temps)-grid type designes that fit into the intake track (allot more surface area on this style to better cool the incoming air-which rushes by so fast that it has at best minimal time to transfer it's heat to the cryo device) - and the less efficient teardrop shaped (limeted surface area to chill the air) one, that if just installed into the air tube will actually act like a restrictor (how much area around it for air to flow?))
IF you did inject CO2 into the intake air you would just be displacing valuable oxygen for combustion (more O2+ more fuel=more power and better VE) CO2 is the byproduct of combustion, and will not break the bonds between the C and O molecules at combustion temps, like N2O (nitrous) will break it's bonds between the two Nitrogen and one Oxygen molecule adding it to the mix.
