Barrings

so as we all know my ride may need new barrings so I was calling around today to get some costs and where to go however I'm getting some pretty high costs fountain tire is telling me 300 to 400 and Midas says 400 to 500. Is this normal for barrings? everyone else is telling me 200 to 250? if this is the case where has everyone brought their cars to to get them fixed for this problem?

Yeah sorry smartass ;)...now I'm hearing a possible $400 per tire (if both are screwed up) because of something to do with ABS (if the car has this whatever the hell he's talking about) I'm taking it in tomorrow kinda hoping to get some info tonight if possible

ya that's about right for bearings for the ga's unless you know someone that can get them at cost. Check with piston ring though. They usually have better prices

Bearing's with integrated abs sensors are really expensive. Brand new acdelco ones for my rear wheels cost about $250 just for the part. Ones without the sensor are almost half as much.
