Brakes

Approximately how long do brakes last for you guys? I don't think anybody has bothered to check them since I bought the car and I'm curious. I remember I had to replace the brakes almost every year on the Oldsmobile I drove before this one (a combination of really shitty and cheap replacement brakes with extreme driving).

Well, After about 3 years I replaced my pads and so far so good except for the minor creeking issue that I want to fix in the spring. I went for the ceramic pags and still have original rotors with no problems. the pads are lifetime so I suppose they will be good for a while still.
