CANADA DAY Cruise! - GM Performance Tuning

Well people plans are in the works for a Canada day cruise. So far the plan is as follows:

Sunday July 1st.
-Between 7pm-8:30 meet at Advance Elec.
-8:30 everyone heads out to a place for Dinner ( thinking either pony downtown )

-Around 10pm ish we can all head for the forks and be redy for the Fireworks at 11pm.

-Afterwards head out for a cruise up main st. to tims or out to Unicity for slurpee's.

Thoughts?

My gf wants me to come to the fireworks so i might be out after 10pm but other then that im totally liking the idea.

Hmm.

I'm seeing Transformers at 8:00 so I don't know how long it will be. I'll try to make it to the Forks around 11:00 as I doubt the movie is 3 hours long.

If not, you'll probably see me crusin' around the city Monday Night :D

Umm? you do know Transformers starts July 02, 2007 and Canada Day is July 1. You are welcome to get in line on the first, but you will be waiting some time before you can go in.

You guys cruising on Monday night as well?

My bumpers are at the shop and are supposed to be getting painted right now but I don't know what the hell is up with them. They have been there for a week already.

Oh, lol. I thought you ment Monday. I assumed Canada day ment monday as everyone has it off.

I'd be coming then :) The Forks could be a problem though

There's plenty of spots a few blocks away from the forks. Across the river around Lyndale Drive is a good spot, plus you can walk straight to the forks across the footbridge.

Why don't we go to the Assinaboine Park Fireworks? There are no lights there so you can see them better plus there is way more parking and a huge field to sit in.

I'd prefer to stick to the forks. 3 reasons:

1.Alot easier to away from after the show
2.much closer to downtown for when we go cruising after.
3.Alot fewer of these

Ass park isn't that bad, hell of a lot closer to me, lol.

I was there last night for a bonfire and the "Bird of Manitoba" wasn't that bad. I think they fogged Charleswood a few nights ago, though i'm not 100% sure.

Forks or Assinaboine park.
but still meet between 7-8:30 and still do the dinner thing.
