Cool Car Wax

Hey can someone help me out?
Looking for a good car wax that doesn't take to much elbow grease yet does a good job. I have tried Jet Glaze from GM and have been using New Finish for the last couple of years. Everyone I talk to is using Meguare's car wax. I checked at Crappy Tire and they carry about 3 to 4 different Meguare's car polishes. Can anyone tell me which one will do the best job.

Re: Car Wax

Zaino is the best but labor intensive.

The best "one step" is NXT by Meguire`s.

Re: Car Wax

My favourite wax to use is Meguiar's NXT Generation 2.0 Tech Wax. Go with the bottle, not the paste.

Amazing, amazing wax. I only use Meguair's products, and have yet to be disappointed.

I liked the paste a little better. Both are good though.

I have mine detailed every month so they use the liquid carnuba from the detail shop now.Don`t need a lot of longevity since it is done so often.

The NXT lasted a long time IMO.

Re: Car Wax

I've used Meg's standard wax and The NXT. But now I used liquid glass. You put on 1 coat by hand (no buffer needed) let it dry. wipe off (easy) let the car bake in the sun for 4 hours. Repeat process. Lasts a lot longer then wax because it's a paint sealer. Can't buy this stuff here though. It's about 21 dollars in the states for a bottle of it.

Re: Car Wax

Part Source is quite a bit more expensive on the stuff. Best bet is to go to your local Canadian Tire for it. It's an expensive wax ($30), but I've seen Canadian Tire blow it out during the off months for around $15 - 20.

If you ever go down to Grand Forks or Fargo, it's dirt cheap down there ($10 - $15 USD)... well.. back then when the dollar was at part it was dirt cheap, lol.
