Has Anyone Delt with the MPI Auctions?

I was wondering if anyone has delt with MPI on any of their Salvage Auctions. Here's the reason.

Look at that thing! Beauty isn't it? Just wondering what I can expect going to one of these auctions, and any type of suggestions when I go there.

Though the real question is why was it written off. I'm guessing someone stole it and MPI though the car wasn't worth the repair given the 121k on it. If its nothing too serious, I could try to fix it up and sell it or just part the sucker out, after I take what's rightfully mine, haha.

I would guess the damage is under the car judging on how one mudflap is now sideways. Even if you can't fix it you can make some decent change parting it out. The SCT spoiler and hood alone could make it worthwhile considering how expensive they are new.

What I'm planing on taking for myself are:

SC/T Hood
SC/T Spoiler
Chrome Rims

and everything else can basically be parted out! Though I don't want to get ahead of myself, because I probably wont win it, haha

With the MPI Auction happening, let us know how it all went. What was the competition like and what was the final asking price?

I was considering taking the day off to go to the auction, but things here at work just got too out of hand. Maybe next time.

Unfortunately, I never went because I had to work yesterday. My parents refused to go for me, so I guess that's that. Too bad, because I would have liked to try. MPI hasn't posted the Auction Results yet, and it will be interesting to see how much it went for.

Edit: That Grand Am went for $3,800... damn

Too bad that MXZ had no transmission, I wonder what that entailed though... still 1900 bucks for an '02 with RER and only 4000 km ain't bad.
