Minneapolis Trip for 2009

Dates have changed for the trip
Hello everyone,

As some of you know, Chris and I are planning, yet another trip down to Minneapolis for us. We need to know who is all interested in joining us. We will leave 5 pm (at the latest) July 9th and will be headed back home July 13th. (instead of June 25th to June 29th)

Our plans so far are as is:

Thursday:
Drive down leaving at 5pm
Get to Grand Forks for dinner at Culvers (great food)

Gasing up when everyone else gases up (yes that means you to Kyle)

Arrive in Minneapolis around 12 or 1 in the morning (oi not again)
Get to the Windgate Hotel, Pictures

If it all goes well with the hotel, we will be getting 2 queen beds per room and it will cost about $85* - $114* per person for the whole weekend. If we all have a special someone we are bringing along, no one will be on the floor. While someone gets a bed to themselves (right Jeff)

Friday:
Valley Fair - $37.99* each for a day pass plus $10* for parking per vehicle
Possible shopping at the Mall of America (depending how tired we are)

Saturday
Shopping at Mall of America
Then for out evening entertainment,
MYTH NIGHTCLUB

We are planning this little package for whoever comes along. (we will all chip in to make it cheaper on all of us)
And also please bring your nicest clothes for this event. preferred: suits(guys) and dresses(girls)

The Celebrity Package:

- Free admission for up to 10 guests
- No wait in line
- Free valet parking for 2 vehicles
- Your own private VIP area with
amazing views of the club
- Your own VIP server for the evening
- 2 premium bottles of liquor including
mixers of choice (red bull included:12 max)
- 1 complimentary bottle of champagne
- Special shout-out on MIC & main screens
- Table occupancy: 2 - 10 people
- Cost: $600 plus gratuity

When I book this and if there are more then 10 of us, I'll see how much extra it costs.

With an extra little surprise if everything works out.

For the trip down, as Greg said some will leave at 5. We may be going down in two groups. Some of us may be leaving around Noon that day, as we don't necassarily want a repeat of this year, lol.

I'm still in shock in what we get in that Celebrity Package. Though I wonder what size we actually get. So much booze, lol. Yag Bombs for all :D. It says free admission for 10 people... So I imagine that, with our private VIP Area, we can bring people in, or at least that's what I imagine. So if they don't let 12 of us in for free, we could split the cost to get them in, and then "invite" them into our area. At least, that's how I thought VIP worked.

And on Monday... if anyone dares say "Let's go to White Castle" I will kill you... along with Jeff and Greg

I will let you know. I am driving down to WPG in June i think for 2 weeks ( will take me about 3-4 days to drive down, but i have 2 weeks so its lots of time ) , I want to go so bad, and by then i should have a few things done to the old grand am ( we will see how my pocket looks ) . All i ask is some help cleaning the bugs off from the long haul from yk to wpg!! :P

To avoid circumstances like these, let's all do our best to bring a significant other (of the opposite sex) with us. I know for some it will be easy for others, it will mean it's time to get Busy! (only 21-30yr old Ladies may apply)

I'm sure we'd be getting more club members once we start meeting up again.


Edit: Hey Greg. I know you mentioned that someone in the Bonnie club said that we might be able to park at his place and walk to Valley Fair. Is (s)he still okay with that? I'm so cheap :P
