Notice to all member that still might have warranty left

this is an article I found today. Appearantly there is a lawsuit on GM to get the somewhat common Lower intake manifold gasket issue fixed. Strangely enough I just had a complete gasket change yesterday. Read the article over and perhaps you can get any potential gasket problems resolved.

Good luck!

Although there is no recall, if you can explain to a dealer about oil consumption issues your vehicle may be having they will most likely setup an apointment for a gasket change. I personally hope that something does come of this because I know of a few people who have had this problem arise. ( won't mention names )

Sounds like that lady in the article with the Montanna was asking for it. She said she got the LIM gasket leak daignosed, then the head gasket went. So did she know about the LIM, yet still continue to drive?

I dunno about the petition/law suits stuff, I see it as just something you should know about and can deal with when you buy the vehicle.

.
sometimes people don't have a choice. they ahve to drive to get to work or to pick up their kids from school. and they are living paycheck to paycheck so they don't have the money to payfor repairs or the knowhow to attempt repairs themselves.
