Okay Guys and Gals... It's time to plan the Big Car Show Event!

Tintmasters Perfect 10 Show 2009 :: August 22nd

This is the big car show in Fargo, ND that we're going to attempt to enter. I need to know EXACTLY how many people are wanting to go, because we have to send in money to Tintmasters as well as photo's of our vehicles.


When: August 22, 2009
Where: Fargo, North Dakota, USA
Venue: Fargo Dome
Time: 5 pm till 11 pm

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

*** Please note that all prices are in US Funds ***

Registration Fee: $50 / Vehicle
Electricity Charge: $50

• Applications must be recieved 2 weeks prior to the event.
  Application must also contain these three Photos: Front Angle, Rear Angle, Interior Angle
  Tintmaters have the final say in which cars are allowed. You will be refunded your money minus $5 charge
  Vehicle Location / Show Area is approx. 10' by 20'. If the vehicle needs more space, please metion so on the form
  Vehicles must have less than 1/4 tank of gas, and the battery's must be disconnected during the event
  Car Entry Rollin / Setup: 10 am --> 3 pm ( Friday )

Who wants to go? The intial plan will be

Prior to Friday ( August 20th ): Clean Cars / Big Detail
Friday, August 21st, 2009: Leave for Fargo
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009: Car Show
Sunday, August 23rd, 2009: Shopping / Go Home

UPDATE: Car Detailing

The Fargo Car Show is the biggest car show in North Dakota ( although that isn't saying much ), so that means our cars have to look amazing. Thus, there are a Guidelines to follow:

THE CAR MUST BE PROPERLY DETAILED
No if, ands, or buts. You have two options of detailing... either get it done by a professional shop, or by one of the club members. The only Club Members that are Detailers are myself, Rob, and Greg, though you cannot rely on us.

First, and formost, you must have the car Polished, any scratches and swirls removed ( as best as can be done depending on your budget ), and a nice coat of Wax.

The Chamois: Car Wash and Detail Centre ( 850 Waverley, 85 Reenders Drive, 1285 St. James Street )
Ming ( 1400 St. James Street )


I will try to do some detailing for club members that are going, though it will have to be around my schedual and not yours.

Price: $120 - $150 ( depending on paint condition & Labour )
Time Needed: 6 - 8 hours ( depending again on paint condition )
Process: Hand Wash, Claybar, Tar Removal, Current Wax Removal, Paint Cleaner, SwirlX, ScratchX 2.0, Paint Polish, Wax, PlastX, Interior Cleaning ( no shampooing, sorry ), Tire Dressing

First of all.. I'm sorry I didn't bring any of the forms. I'll have them out this coming Sunday.

Secondly, I updated the original thread with guidlines for entry cars ( detailing ).
