Ractive cone filters

Just wondering what you all think...I have two air filters, and I swap them every 3 months. That way, I have 3 months to find time to clean one while the other is in the car.

one of my filters is a K&N 7"...came with my Dr. Speed CAI. The second one I bought in spring is a from Ractive.

I'm just cleaning the Ractive one and I noticed that it actually holds water...that is, the water leaks out through the filter very slowly, as opposed to my K&N, where it just basically runs straight through.

do you think this is an indicatin of how well (or not well) air flows through the Ractive one? Overall, are the Ractive filters as good (I've heard the argument about K&N lasting longer...but in terms of actual airflow...anyone know?
