Removing the Ram Air Intake Cover?

Hey guys! I've been trying my best to remove those clips from the RAM Air cover, but there has to be an easier way to get them out... and not destroying those clips in the process.

I got the top two out quite easily, but the other ones (two on the left and one on the right) were a pain, so I used a hammer to carefully pry them off but they all snapped.

What is the best way to remove them especially the ones that are cliped onto the front bumper? And can the mechanic replace the broken clips or am I stuck with them?

Thanks!

Never looked at the RAM AIR setup myself, but as far as the clips go, I am sure it would be much easier for you to go to a wrecker and pick them up off of a GT. Next time I go out I can keep an eye out for ya.

If they are the stock push pin style then use side cutters and gently squeeze the pin and pull up... just don't cut the top off. lol if they are the multi barb type on the finder well then just be careful and use a flathead screwdriver.

I have a set of fine long needlenose plyers and pull the top up wards, then the body of the clip should come out no problems. The clips that hold the front part, also connected to the bumper have a larger body but can be easily identified from the rest.

Ohh so thats the trick to getting them out. thanks.

Now A new problem has arose for me. The cover came out nice and easily, but there are screws or pins that are holding down the thing i need to remove. The pins are

(excuse the bad diagram)

are located by the i character. I tried using a screwdriver to carefully pry them out but i ended up giving up (mainly because it's 8:30 outside). Is there a better way or should I just be more patient?

Edit: Removed the crappy asci picture because it didn't work :(

If they are the peices holding the intake control (the peice that diverts the air from the front and directs it to the airbox), they are the same connectorsas the ones that hold the top cover. If not, take a pic, it would make it alot easier as there are many types of parts.

Basically I'm am trying to add a grill to my car, which is why the Ram Air cover had to come off. Now that that came off I have easier access to the front "grill clips"

The only problem is that there are screws that I've been trying to carefully pry out the screws (located at the green lines, which holds the silver coloured piece in) but no no luck.

I've already bought the mesh which is in the basement (still have to add the silver coat to it and the clear coat) but i'm not going to continue until i can easily take those darn screws out.
