An immobilizer will pay for itself. In my case My car was still there when I came out. The door was fixed and the interior damage was repaired no problem. I know sometimes I repeat myself on the immobilizer deal but, I know several people who have lost their cars. Some have found them again, some have not. A good majority of them end up saying to me, "I understand why you like the immobilizer now, I am going to get one." I hope everything goes well in your case.

Hay 99blackSE, first, thanks fer sending me here, so far so good :)....second, that news thing makes me think twice about buyin my GrandAm lol...seriously, it doesnt, my car came with an alarm/starter system on it (not to mention just about every other option, mint as a car can be, 65000kms and an 8850 price tag *thumbs waaay up*), plus i have a club (both the steering wheel one and an ol 9-iron incase i happen on the person stealin my ride, or, attempting to actualy *wink*, so it's all good :)...besides, no matter what kind of alarm, immobilzer, club, etc. you have on your car, the old addage is always true, "If they can't take it, they break it.." - trust me, after it happening 12 times in 9 years on various cars, i know.....

Hey there I thought the immobilizer was good to. I had one but they now have some chip or something, according to winnipeg police, to screw it up. But when I get it back or get a new one it will get a nice alarm and a club just at least for more of a deterrent.

Well if anyone still looks at this, I have an update on my car.... its done, I got 16000 for it, which is at least a bit more than I paid, so I am now in the process of looking for a new ga. Right now I gotta drive my crap 91 civic si. I took some pics of the damage and will either post them or post a link to them... It was bad, I guess that kid hit a security guard with my car then was involved in a pursuit in which he ran over the spike strip then got rammed hard by the cops.
