it never touched and it won't cause it's not that type of tornado, it needs more moisture and heat to do anything else. Like when it gets near the lakes

Wasn't there a tornado that hit just outside of WPG a year or two ago?

that house is just over 1/2 mile away, and the tornado is over 1100 feet in the air and is probably 5 miles away. so it looks smaller then it actually is.

One ripped through Gull Lake last summer, killed a woman. If you go up there you can still see the trees ripped up.

Damn! You always see pictures and news storys about Tornadoes and other Natural Disasters, but you really don't realize how much damage they can do. :S

If you don't mind me asking, what level of tornado was it? Judging by the picture i'm going to say lv 4 or 5?

im not sure of the severity of the tornado....there were a few in the area...we locked down at work twice, but the storms hit pretty well for about an hour around us and followed with clear, sunny skies...and yes, everyone was ok...the other tornadoes south of us hit one of our other offices and took 5 trucks out of commision though. My buddy also said that random ppl would pull up next to the property and kept asking what they could do to help, so they already have it all cleaned up and new construction should be starting soon.
