Transformers (2007)... Yes, there's a solstice so it counts!

Has anyone else seen this movie? Holy crap did it blow me away.

I originally went in thinking for a huge train wreck but as soon as you saw Blackout at the Quatar Military base i just sat in awe with my mouth wide open... same with everyone else around me (even my dad! Yes I went with my dad, sue me)

Everything that Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg said about the movie was true. The robots looked amazing, even life-like. And nothing beats seeing a Saleen-powered Mustang (cop car) transform into a giant !@#$ing robot and the running and transforming back into a car.

Of course there is the whole Optimus Prime is a Peterbuilt (sp?) and not the usual Flatnose-Semi but w/e. Great to hear Peter Cullen (original prime from G1) back. The auto-bot voices were amazing, well suited for the characters. Wish more of the Decipticons talked but they sounded great. Hugo Weaving was a fantastic Megatron, really remisant of Frank Welker, and who ever did Starscream was great (even though it was only one line).

Man I'd love to talk more about the movie... but I don't want to spoil it or anything.

Who knows, maybe if enough people are interested we all should head out and catch the movie. Hell I don't mind spending the 9 bucks to see that movie again (maybe I can beat my LOTR:Fellowship record of 5 times :P )

Oh man. I saw this movie last night. It was well worth the money, waiting 1.5hours in line and the crowded theater.

All the local newspapers are giving it bad reviews so it should be good. :D

Thanks for not spoiling it by the way. I would have had to hurt someone otherwise.

Oh, the A-Team, eh?

Dinobots, Constructicons, Ultra-Magnus, Soundwave (with Rumble, Frenzy, Rabid, Ratbat), Blaster.... oh god....

To bad, Michael Bay's A-Team probably includes all those shitty ones that no one remembers, lol

Great Show...

And no limit to the number of sequels

The stars are all Transformers and their salary is cheap compared to Humans. They don't grow old. They don't get sick. They don't get pregnant. They don't have tantrums.....etc

I see a long run of show, its going to be fun

All I hope is that they don't remake the '86 movie. It's good enough as it is.

Just prooves, soundwave ( even though he is kinda cool ) is gay. He makes out with a MR Coffee? Plus the fact he's got two male robots in him("rumble, frenzy") already... lol

Or is he a women pregnant with the robots and the bat and the leopard and the hawk..ect...ect.. weird.. ain't it..
